We were first recommended to CBD projects, over a year ago, by a contractor who had worked with Robert Bowles previously and thought him perfect for a Dog Hotel we have designed. (Paw Paws Urban Retreat)
The contract value is approx $2 mil. and we needed to work closely with a contractor to ensure we spend no more than this but to ensure the integrity of the concept is not compromised.
Before being appointed we spent approximately 4 months going back and forward to Robert trying to get our concept down to a price our client could afford. Robert tirelessly persevered on what was a very difficult process & with a client who has at times been very demanding.
The project is approximately 2 weeks from completion and I am glad to say it is looking exactly as we had conceived and to timeframe. Our client is planning another hotel (Paw Paws country retreat) and, at this stage, is intending on using CBD again. I would highly recommend CBD projects for any project you have not only for their competitive pricing but professionalism and damn nice people to work with.

We took over the building as a rundown fashion warehouse.
The building required a full strip out of all existing interiors and the roof to the front was also removed.
A new deck was built in place of the existing roof to be used as an exercise area for the dogs;a new lift shaft was installed.
New air conditioning was required to condition the building throughout, necessitating in new roof plane and structural supports.
The interior of the building was then refitted to 5 star standards,
including spa areas and grooming areas,
a waterfall was built in the reception area,
kennelling for 150 dogs and 50 cats, exercise areas,
full kitchen to prepare meals for the animals.
Internet access for cameras was installed so that clients could view their dogs as they were being looked after.
