CBD projects worked closely with the designer and client to overcome the complexities of building a Medical Day Surgery within a mixed use building of commercial and residential, especially meeting the fire code for a class 9 construction within a class 5 building.
After the design and council stage the works took 8 weeks on site, these works included 2 theatres, recovery 1 with 4 beds and recovery 2 with 4 chairs; this also included all the required nurses stations, full fire rated CSSD, staff and client facilities and reception for 10.
Due to the existing shell being quite restrictive in heights etc, the Mechanical plant had to be specially designed for the operating theatres. Project completed ahead of schedule expediting our clients Accreditation application.
